THE CHALLENGE

In 2006, a team of entrepreneurs had bought a manufacturing plant that produced rice cake-like snacks. But they needed a hook—flavors. Specifically, they needed a flavor assortment strategy that would fit with their technology and “popped” positioning.

We created a strategy for Popchips, then developed and optimized formulas for the topical seasonings.
