Creating Classis Products with a New Twist

THE CHALLENGE

John Gagliardi, a former professional athlete, wanted a “sports tea” to suit his needs for natural hydration before and after long practices.

OUR WORK

Mattson developed a product platform that delivered on John’s desired “sports teas”—low in sugar, electrolyte-infused, organic teas (green and black) that were naturally delicious. Mattson formulated and helped scale-up six flavors—lemon, peach, raspberry, pomegranate, honey and “50/50”.

THE RESULT

Titan Tea launched nationally in 2015 and has distribution in Giant Eagle and H-E-B, as well as wide distribution in the New York metropolitan area.
