Atkins wanted to develop a line of frozen entrees that helped dieters in the initial “induction” phase of the Atkins diet.
We created the product assortment, developed the protocepts, found a co-packer, conducted in-home consumer research using our Integrated Consumer Insights (ICI), and scaled production for commercialization. In summary, we brought the idea from concept to a product on store shelves.
Atkins Frozen Meals were launched in 2013 with an opening order from Walmart of $25MM.
