Creating a New-to-the-World Product, Brand and Package

THE CHALLENGE

Mario Camacho, a global producer and seller of olives, approached us to develop healthy, craveable snacks for Millennials, and specifically women. The olive consumer was rapidly aging and they wanted to expand the olive into new, relevant categories.

OUR WORK

We convinced Mario Camacho to think beyond the olive. We advocated creating a brand that could encompass various wholesome, indulgent snacks, starting with a straightforward line of chips. We identified coconut as a secondary SKU to the olive chip, given its growth trend from both a flavor and health perspective. We developed a line of chips, named the brand, found the co-packer, scaled-up the products, and created the rich brand identity and master packaging design.

THE RESULT

Mario Camacho launched the d’vour product line in select U.S. Costco stores in March 2015.
